Doodt Films NGO Initiative

Cover my costs and I cover your event. Since NGOs usually do not have the budget to get high-quality videos of their work, I offer to create videos without charging my hourly base rate when my costs are covered. I try to offer it once a month for different NGOs and an NGO can benefit from the initiative once a year. Why? Because there are so many great initiatives and events happening every day that no one gets to see, and I believe that the best way to promote the ideas behind your NGO is to show what your work looks like in real life. |
Why do I do it?
My Erasmus+ exchange has changed my life completely and for good, and allowed me to discover my passion for videos. I believe that the more people we can inform and motivate with our videos to go abroad, become active in volunteering, change their minds about certain topics to overcome stereotypes, fear and racism and to foster cultural understanding in an international mindset, the bigger the positive change we can bring in our societies and at home will be. Let us work together to promote your ideas and activities. |

Between 28th May and 4th June 2017, European Network on Independent Living Youth (ENIL Youth) and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) in co-operation with the European Youth Centre Strasbourg organised a study session “Inclusion Culture – Promoting Leadership in Intercultural Understanding within Mixed-ability Groups". Both ENIL Youth and ESN hold Intercultural inclusive learning as a central theme in their work. But how inclusive and intercultural are we really? Are we creating an open environment for people of all abilities and backgrounds to participate in our activities? What can we learn from each other’s organizations?

With this international conference we want to highlight the importance to develop the quality of youth work done at local level. Following the conclusion of the II European Youth Work Conference held in April 2015 we want to bring into reflection how can local youth organisations and local authorities work together to develop local youth policies. Something that is often developed at national level, but rarely developed at local and regional level.

"We were also positively impressed with his capacity of not only capturing "beautiful moments" that looked good on camera but also "meaningful moments" which conveyed the content of our work and really created a visual report of what was done and achieved during the Conference."
