It all started with my Erasmus+ exchange in Iceland in 2010/2011 when I watched a group of exchange students in the Westfjörds of Iceland playing football and thinking in this situation that it is amazing to have students from all over Europe in this random place just enjoying their time playing football!
"Someone should film this!"
Now as a graduate with a Master of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology a big focus still remains on capturing real-life events, distilling their underlying idea and its´ meaning to bring this combination to the world. It turned out that this personal approach is highly attractive for a young audience and the reason for the unique reach of our productions in the field.
In 2014, I began to venture on towards a new project and found a small business enterprise: "Doodt Films. Ideas. Visualised." was born. Since 2017 I´m a full-time professional videomaker and the projects so far have ranged from covering local events, recreational trips, filming documentaries up to the creation of international awareness raising campaigns.
The Doodt Films Mission:
"Bringing positive change to societies through videos in the fields of youth, education and mobility."
